For centuries, a sacred spiritual tradition has preserved an extraordinary account. It tells that Mahavatar Babaji, the immortal Himalayan Master, appeared to Guru Nanak and revealed to him the deepest mysteries of Divine realization and the inner science of Kriya Yoga.

This tradition further recounts that when Guru Nanak and his wife prayed for a child who would become a great light for humanity, Babaji made an astonishing promise:
“I Myself shall be born into your family.”
As a sign, he foretold that the child would be born with kundalas (earrings) naturally formed in his ears, just as Babaji himself was traditionally depicted. That prophecy, tradition holds, was fulfilled in the birth of Baba Siri Chand, a radiant soul whose entire life became a living expression of meditation, renunciation, compassion, and Divine realization. Today, many followers of Kriya Yoga see in Baba Siri Chand the manifestation of Mahavatar Babaji.
This album is Dr. Levry's heartfelt offering to the timeless presence of Baba Siri Chand and to the sacred lineage that has preserved these teachings through the centuries. Every mantra, every melody, and every vibration has been lovingly created to help you enter a state of deep meditation, inner healing, spiritual protection, courage, wisdom, and self-mastery. May these sacred sounds become a bridge connecting you with the living blessings of Baba Siri Chand, the timeless wisdom of the great Masters, and the Divine Presence that lives within your own heart. Close your eyes. Take a deep breath. Listen deeply. Remember.
Born in 1494, Baba Siri Chand became one of the greatest mystics the world has ever known. Through profound meditation, unwavering discipline, and constant remembrance of the Divine Name, he attained an extraordinary state of spiritual realization that inspired kings, saints, yogis, and seekers from every tradition. Those who entered his presence experienced an indescribable peace, a healing compassion, and a spiritual power that dissolved fear, awakened faith, and transformed lives.
During the reign of Emperor Jahangir, Baba Siri Chand was regarded as one of the most influential spiritual masters in India. The great mystic Mian Mir is said to have described him as: “The King of the Dervishes.” Baba Siri Chand lived for more than 135 years. According to the Udasi tradition, he did not die; instead, he entered the forest and merged into light, where he is believed to remain an unseen presence for those who call upon him.
Although countless miracles have been attributed to Baba Siri Chand, he never sought recognition. His greatest miracle was not the performance of supernatural acts, but a complete union with the Divine. His life demonstrated that the highest spiritual attainment is the ability to awaken the Divine Presence already hidden within every human heart.
He taught through silence. He blessed through compassion. He transformed lives through the radiance of Divine Consciousness.
The spiritual mission of Baba Siri Chand did not end with his earthly life. According to a revered spiritual tradition, Baba Siri Chand later appeared in a vision to the great saint Baba Virsa Singh, entrusting him with a sacred mission. During this mystical encounter, Baba Siri Chand instructed him to recite and share a profoundly transformative Divine Name with humanity:
Eck Ong Kar Sat Naam Siri Wahe Guru
Baba Virsa Singh faithfully carried this sacred transmission throughout his life, introducing countless seekers to this powerful Naam. He taught that this Divine vibration awakens the soul, purifies the heart, quiets the mind, and reconnects the individual with the Infinite Presence of God.
During Dr. Joseph Michael Levry’s time in India, Baba Virsa Singh personally transmitted this sacred Naam to him, entrusting him with its practice and its meaning. Dr. Levry later carried this mantra to students around the world, sharing it as a universal meditation for inner transformation, healing, and Divine remembrance. Through this unbroken spiritual transmission, the sacred Naam continues to inspire people from every culture and tradition to experience the One Infinite Creator directly within themselves. In that same spirit, this Naam is offered as a free gift on the Naam Eck Ong Kar album.

Since then, Dr. Levry has led massive Global Gatherings for Peace and Healing around the world, with attendance growing to hundreds of thousands of people. These large global events unite people from every background, using the sacred vibration of Naam to hold a collective intention for global peace and healing.
“One day I had a vision of Baba Siri Chand confidentially instructing me in the Naam. After that, I sat in meditation continuously. Then Baba Siri Chand said, ‘I want to introduce you to my father.’ (…) Guru Nanak approached wearing a very long robe, brown like the color of a mouse. He wore wooden sandals with a raised peg between the big toe and the toes. He had a red cap, his beard was gray, and he was very tall, above six feet. Guru Nanak said, ‘Ik Onkar Sat Nam Siri Wahe Guru.’ Baba Siri Chand has given me the same Naam. Repeat it again and again and give it to others also. Guru Gobind Singh also gave the same Naam in the same way, removing all doubt.”
Tradition holds that Patanjali, the great sage regarded as the father of Yoga, foretold Guru Nanak's coming some 2,180 years in advance, naming him an extraordinary Master who would illuminate humanity during the Kali Yuga. Guru Nanak would introduce a unique sacred mantra unlike any used in previous ages: Waheguru, meaning "The Wondrous Lord." This forms the heart of the sacred mantra Eck Ong Kar Sat Naam Siri Waheguru. This Divine Name became the spiritual heartbeat of Guru Nanak's teachings and the foundation of the practice of Naam. Guru Nanak transmitted the sacred current of Naam to Baba Siri Chand, who later entrusted it to Baba Virsa Singh, who subsequently transmitted it to Dr. Levry. Through this unbroken lineage, the mantra continues to be practiced as a path of Divine remembrance, inner awakening, and union with the Infinite.
A parallel account from the Vishnu Purana holds that Lord Vishnu told the sage Umbreek Rishi He would return in the Kali Yuga under the name Nanak, fittingly read as Na-Anak, "Not another, but the One," echoing Guru Nanak's central teaching that there is only One Supreme Reality. That teaching began with Ik Oankar, One Universal Creator, the source and sustainer of all things. It deepened when, after emerging from three days beneath the Kali Bein River, Guru Nanak revealed the Mool Mantra, Ik Ong Kar Sat Naam, opening words of the Siri Guru Granth Sahib. He later gave his son Baba Siri Chand the formula Ek Ong Kar Sat Gur Prasad, a spiritual technology for awakening the heart and opening a channel for Divine Grace.
Saints across traditions have echoed this same truth. Among them was Tulsidas, who wrote: Kalyug Kewal Naam Adhara Simar Simar Nar Utarahin Para, meaning: "In the Kali Yuga, the Divine Name is the greatest support. By remembering it again and again, one crosses the ocean of worldly suffering."
Whether received as prophecy, scripture, or living transmission, the message is one: there is One God, and the Naam is the bridge between the human soul and the Infinite, a path of remembrance available to every sincere seeker.
Within this spiritual tradition, Mahavatar Babaji is understood as an eternal manifestation of Divine Consciousness, while Baba Siri Chand is revered as an embodiment of that same timeless Light. They are seen not as separate personalities, but as expressions of one eternal mission:
To awaken humanity to its Divine origin.
Whether one understands these accounts as sacred history, mystical tradition, or symbolic teachings, their message remains universal: Meditate deeply. Remember God constantly. Serve humanity selflessly. Awaken the Divine within.
The album’s opening track offers supreme praise and blessing to Baba Siri Chand.
For generations, devotees have recited this mantra to invoke:
Its sacred vibration calms the mind, opens the heart, strengthens faith, and reminds the soul of its eternal relationship with the Divine, carrying the seeker beyond fear, beyond doubt, into the infinite silence where the soul remembers its true nature.
Each mantra on this album carries its own history, meaning, and benefits. Here is a closer look at these sacred sounds.

Eck Ong Kar Sat Naam Siri Wahe Guru

Recuerda a Dios constantemente.
